Research Engineer working on AR/VR Wireless Connectivity within Facebook Reality Labs. I focus on Next-Gen WiFi standards development and low latency communications system design. I focus on introducing MAC features for extremely low latency services in IEEE 802.11be (WiFi-7) which will be adopted by billions of upcoming devices.
I did my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University. I was a member of Rice Networks Group, working with Prof. Edward Knightly. I have also worked at Intel Labs and Hewlett Packard Labs focusing on mmWave networking and 5G-NR. My research interests are in the broader area of wireless networking and MAC design, with focus on mmWave communication in WiFi and 5G/NR, network densification in 802.11ax/be, intelligent edge network design and mobility management. Prior to joining Rice, I completed my B.S. in EE from LUMS School of Science and Engineering with highest honors. News
